These rules applies to all forums on this site.

1. Absolutely no talk about pirating/copying the Festival movies. There will be no discussion about pirating movies such as Vanish to Michigan and Vanishing Point, do not ask where to download it, do not offer URLs to unionz, confedratez, brasils, warez or cracks. Posts of that nature will be deleted.

NOTE: Request/posting cracks/brasils will result in instant mads like this: .

2. Be polite. Please post civilly. Speak to others as you would if they were standing in front of you - the anonymity of the net is not an excuse for poor manners and jerk-like conduct.

3. Please post answers to questions, not just URLs. If a question is asked, do not answer by posting just a URL to your website. Answer a few points, and then provide a URL for more information if necessary.

4. Advertise in the appropriate forum. Nothing wrong with posting your website (SFF related is preferred but not necessary) but please do so in the provided forum, we don't want to clutter the board with ads.

5. Do not ask to become a moderator, chat operator, or administrator. These positions are never given out by asking. We pick only trusted, active and helpful members of the Simtropolis Film Festival forums only.

6. This is not a White House. As much as we try to accommodate everyone, this is not a White House. Peace, friendliness and intelligent discussion will be maintained here at all costs. If we feel the need to censor, close or delete threads, we will do so. You have the right to speak freely, but if you disturb other people, we have the right to shut you up.

7. Do not revive threads after they have dropped to the later pages. If a thread isnt replied to and drops onto a later page please do not revive an older thread. They are not needed and break the fluency of the forums.

8. No scripts of weddings or funerals allowed here. If you feel the need, go to simcitycentral.net and they have an area for that on their forums. This rule applies to the signatures and avatars as well.

9. Any username containing profanities (swears) or offensive words will be removed immediately without notification.

10. A username who swears or say offensive words will be banned for the rest of their lives.
